What Is Freelancing Hacks
When I first started out freelancing, I had no one to help me learn the ways of freelancing. It was a difficult time for me, I was broke, and I struggled for several months trying to land freelancing jobs. Initially, it took me 4 years of hard work to learn from my mistakes and become a successful freelancer. Today, I’ve been freelancing for over 10 years and I make $5000 a month doing freelance work for some of the top companies and businesses around the world.
I know many freelancers are going through that same harsh experience right now and I know from experience that most successful freelancers hate sharing their secrets and advice with new freelancers.
I created Freelancing Hacks to share my experience and to help other freelancers overcome their fears and teach them how to properly and securely make more money by working online.
How Did I Get Here
After getting kicked out of high school, I went through a series of demeaning jobs. I didn’t last more than 6 months at those day jobs because I hated working for employers who never appreciate my talent. Then I came upon a chance to do what I love the most: Writing and get paid to do it. So, I started off as a freelance writer for a locally published technology magazine. It was a low-paying job, but I loved what I did and spent 2 years working at the magazine.
Then I left that gig to start my own blog: freshINFOS.com (no longer active). Blogging was new to me, but I caught on quickly and after 4 years of hard work I grew the website by writing over 6,500 articles, all by myself. Some days, I even had to work over 20 hours to develop this new site. The site now receives over 25,000 visitors and 44,000 page views every month.
Getting freshINFOS.com off the ground was more than a challenge for me. I did a lot of freelancing jobs to find the expenses necessary to cover my living costs while I developed this website. Without even realizing it, I actually started making more money as a freelancer than a blogger. Today, I’m proud to call myself a successful freelancer.
Everyone Should Have A Mentor
My mentor, Ziera Eliani, is the person who pushed me to develop my website freshINFOS.com. Before I met her, I was a lazy geek who loved to skip work and watch movies. She pushed me to work beyond my comfort zone and made me a better version of myself. During the first few months, I was working 20 hours a day. But, if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t even be here.
Even Richard Branson had a mentor that helped him to develop his billion-dollar empire. I believe everyone should have a mentor that helps them find their inner entrepreneur. And I’m willing to be that mentor to you.
The only dream I have now is to show people that it’s not impossible to make money as a freelancer and to help them discover financial freedom by choosing a career in freelancing.
